Meet Our Team
Rebeccah Bjorn-Lee - Veterinary Technician
Beccah was forced to take horseback riding lessons at the age of 6 to help get over a bad equine encounter with a friendly looking but vicious pony. It took several years of being "stuck" out at the barn with her horse crazy siblings before any interest in horses truly developed. Since then, being around horses quickly turned into a full blown passion. She now enjoys actively riding her Arabian "Kastane". In addition to her own horse, she also enjoys starting young horses and working with behavior problems in horses.
Kate Talbot - Veterinary Assistant
Kate grew up in Lake Oswego and has been riding horses her whole life. She started out riding and showing in the hunter/jumper discipline, but has recently discovered a passion for reining. When she's not riding, Kate enjoys various outdoor activities such as fishing, snowboarding, and hiking with her two dogs, Charlie and Hadley.
Kate dual enrolled in Linn Benton Community College and Oregon State University where she received an A.A.S. in Horse Management and a B.S. in Communication with a minor in Animal Science. Throughout her college experience, Kate rode for the OSU Equestrian Team and worked several horse related jobs ranging from daily barn operations to being a riding instructor. Since graduating, she has moved to a farm in Gervais, OR and is very excited to join the NWEP team!
Ramiro Chavez - Veterinary Assistant & Maintenance
Ramiro is an integral part of our practice both as a veterinary assistant and general maintenance/grounds keeper. He is an avid competitor in calf roping and enjoys training horses for himself and others.
Hollie Beck - Office Manager
Hollie was raised on a farm in Sisters, OR. She enjoyed spending all her time with her two sisters. They enjoyed riding their horses, chasing chickens and exploring and playing in the big barns. She later found her interest to be working with children. She received her Associates in Early Childhood Education and worked with children in the Elem. and Jr. High School setting for the past 15 years.
She was given the opportunity to make a career change and manage an office environment. She found it to be enjoyable and became her new passion. Being at NWEP gives her opportunity to do what she enjoys best and rekindles fond memories of her childhood living in the country.
At home, she is happily married and has two daughters. She lives for being a Mom, from soccer games to dance recital, not to mention all the shopping trips. Hollie enjoys family and friend time.
Haleigh Cepurno - Receptionist
Haleigh recently made the switch from small animal medicine to the equine world. Horses have always been her passion and she is very excited to join the team here at NWEP.
When not in the the office, Haleigh enjoys camping, hunting and keeping her yard beautiful with her 3 dogs (Arrow, Goose & Diesel) and 3 cats.
