IRAP

Interleukin-1 Receptor Antagonist Protein Therapy is used for treatment of osteoarthritis. The IRAP protein, naturally present in the body, is collected from the patient, concentrated, and then re-injected into the diseased joint. IRAP therapy has been shown to be effective in treating arthritic joints that have not responded to more traditional intra-articular therapy.
